The Bay Dynamics San Francisco training facility is located
in the heart of the Downtown Financial District. It is close to the Embarcadero,
Union Square and Moscone Center Convention area, and a short taxi ride to many cultural
sites and world class restaurants. Transportation to the Bay Dynamics facility is
easy with the Montgomery Street BART station 2 blocks away and several hotels within
walking distance.
For alternative directions try Google, Live Maps, Mapquest,
or Yahoo. Because these services can be problematic with some of our addresses,
please use our information as your primary source for directions.
Facility Description
Bay Dynamics is located on the 11th floor of the Shell
Building at 100 Bush St. – on the corner of Bush and Battery, where they intersect
Market Street. We are located only 2 blocks from the Montgomery Street BART station.
Driving Directions
From SFO International Airport and 101 North
- Driving north on US 101 from SFO, transition to Highway I-80
(East) to Oakland-Bay Bridge.
- Take Exit 2, 4th St, toward Embarcadero. Continue on to Bryant
Street for 1 block to 3rd Street, then turn left to 3rd Street.
- Third Street will turn into Kearny Street after you cross
Market St. Turn right on Bush and the Shell Building is three blocks down, the last
building on the left.
Oakland Bay Bridge
- Take the Fremont Street exit, (first SF exit).
- Go straight on Fremont until you cross Market Street, Fremont
becomes Front St.
- Take the next left, Pine, and then the very next street is
Battery.
- Turn left on Battery and the Shell building is the last one
on the right.
- There is an entrance to the building parking garage there,
as well as easy access to the garage at One Bush just past the light on the right.
Golden Gate Bridge
- Take US101 South to Lombard Street exit.
- Take Lombard Street to Van Ness Ave.
- Turn right on to Van Ness and go straight for 14 blocks until
you reach Bush Street.
- Turn left on Bush Street and go straight 14 blocks. The last
cross street before the building is Sansome Street.
- It is the last building on the left hand side (there is a
Noah’s Bagels at street level).
Parking
The Shell Building has a parking available at $30 a day. The
entrance is located on the Battery Street side of the building. There is usually
availability here. There is also public parking across Bush St at the One Bush building,
also easily accessed from Batterey St. Both of these options provide excellent access
and an easy transition to the freeways when departing.
Transportation
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International
Airport (OAK) are excellent airports for travel to the San Francisco Bay Area. We
recommend BART, taxi or an “Airporter” service for travel to San Francisco.
BART will cost approximately $5.25 one way with trains to Downtown San Francisco
every 15-20 minutes. Taxis and “Airporter” services are located outside
of baggage claim. Please make sure to tell your driver the name of the hotel at
which you will be staying.
Flights may be booked into San Francisco International Airport
(SFO), although Oakland International (OAK) is a similar distance and well-served
by public transit also. A car is not necessary - we recommend using BART, a taxi,
or the San Francisco Airporter to your hotel. You can access the BART station from
any terminal at SFO; follow the signs to the AirTrain people mover (free). It costs
$5.25 one way, and departs every 15 - 20 minutes. Taxicabs are located outside baggage
claim; they can run $35 or more plus tip. The Airporter bus has stops outside each
baggage claim departing every 20-30 minutes. An adult round trip fare is about $14.00.
Be sure to let the driver know your hotel.
BART
From SFO -
Generally the most convenient and comfortable transportation
option is the Bay Area Rapid Transit System - BART. Buy a ticket for BART at the
station using cash or credit/debit card. From SFO, you take any train that is headed
toward San Francisco. Exit at the Montgomery Street Station; take the escalators
up to Market Street.
If you look up Market Street, in one direction it ends at the
Bay. Walk towards the Bay (north) until you reach the intersection of Bush, Battery
and Market as shown on the detail map below. We are in the Shell Building as noted
on that map.
From OAK -
From Oakland International, take a taxi or the BART Shuttle bus
to the Coliseum Station. The shuttle is $3, and requires exact change in bills or
coins. When you reach the station, purchase a ticket using cash or credit/debit
card. Take any train to San Francisco and exit at the Montgomery Street Station;
take the escalators up to Market Street.
