My IT Analytics Installation Experience

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to give my perspective on what was required to install and configure IT Analytics.  Armed with the installation manual, I went forward installing IT Analyitics for Microsoft System Center.  Long story short, once the System Center Service Manager environment was in place, the total time it took me to get the product up and running was under an hour.  The installation guide was a huge help and I just followed it step by step.  For current System Center admins, it should be simple to get up and running and just point IT Analytics to the ConfigMgr and/or OpsMgr databases in your environment.

After install, you will want to drag, drop, and manipulate the data that is relevant to your environment. It was very helpful for me to watch a few demos that showcase different use cases and specific scenarios.  I needed this information because of my limited background. For the analysts and admins reading this, you should have plenty of specific cases allowing you to manipulate the data in exiciting and creative ways.  Viewing the demos will give you the comfort level you need to leverage IT Analytics in very powerful ways.

Going forward, we will also be posting links around recorded webinars and demos focusing on specific use cases and System Center components.
